Sexual health

If you are sexually active, it is important to consider some of the ways which you can ensure you stay safe. Sexually transmissible infections (STIs) such as chlamydia can be passed from person-to-person during sex. Using condoms is the best way to prevent these infections. Sex without a condom or another form of contraception can also lead to pregnancy.

There are lots of places online where you can find information about sexual health. You can also speak with your doctor about your sexual health at any time. It might feel a bit embarrassing, but remember they are professionals and speak to lots of young people about sex!
