Young People’s Health and Wellbeing Study

How will young people be involved in RAd Health?

We want to hear from young people about what matters to them in managing their healthcare.

As part of the RAd Health trial we are inviting young people from practices which are part of the RAd Health trial to complete online surveys. Young people will be recruited to this part of the study through their practice (via text message).

Survey participants will be reimbursed for their time. They will also have the opportunity (with further reimbursement) to:

  • Give their permission for the study team to anonymously access information about their healthcare costs (MBS/PBS data)
  • Participate in an telephone interview

What are the surveys about?

The surveys ask questions about young people’s health and wellbeing. This includes questions about:

  • Healthcare use and costs
  • Quality of life and mental health
  • Substance use
  • Sexual health

For an information sheet about the surveys, watch the video below
